ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಮೆರಿಕ  ಹಾಗು ಕೆನಡಾ  ಪ್ರವಾಸವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ  ಮುಗಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ತಾವಿತ್ತ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಮನವನ್ನು ತಣಿಸಿದೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಈ ಪ್ರೀತಿಗೆ ನಾವು ಸದಾ ಚಿರಋಣಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ಕಲಾ ಜೀವನದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಹಂತದಲ್ಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾತ್ರ . ಅತ್ಯಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು. ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಹಿಡಿಸಿದೆ ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಕಲಾ ಸರಸ್ವತಿಯನ್ನು, ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು  ಆರಾಧಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಹೃದಯಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿ, ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗಿರಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕಲೆಯ ಆದರಾತಿಥ್ಯವನ್ನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ. ನಾವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಷ್ಟನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೊಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಭಾರತಿಯರಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನ ಉಳಿಸೋಣ , ಬೆಳೆಸೋಣ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಪಸರಿಸೋಣ.

GANESH DESAI

Ganesh Desai is a multi-faceted artist as a Semi-Classical and light Vocalist, Music Composer, Instrument player and Music Teacher. His awards include Hero Honda “Suurtaranga” Award for Best Young Artist 2003, “Aryabhata” Kalakusuma Cultural Award for Sugama Sangeeta, Bangalore-2000.

Originally, from the State of Karnataka, from the age of six his father Vibhakar Desai, trained him in the fields of Traditional Folk Art (Yakshagana) and Music. In his later years, he trained to be a Singer and Music Composer. He has sung for many live Concerts, Music Festivals in India and abroad. He also sings for Kathak and Odyssi.

As an accomplished Musical Director, he has directed music for audio albums, Dance Ballets,  TV Serials, Drama, Skit and Mimes. His recent Music Direction was for a mega serial in Kannada for Z Channel “ Benkiyalli Aralida Huvu” (2010)  “Triveni Sangama” mega serial (ETV 2005), Sangolli Raayanna mega serial (SUVARNA 2007), “GOPIKONMADA” a collection of Bhaav Sangeet sung by many popular play back singers of Karnataka, “NRITYA-SANGEET” collection of kannada compostions for kathak dance.

While in high school, Ganesh Desai learnt classical music from Guru Sujatha Bhat. He also learnt Tabla under the guidance of Guru Dattatrya Hegde and has accompanied many artists. Under the tutelage of Guru Vasant Kanakapur well known Harmonium player and composer of Music in AIR Dharwad, he got valuable lessons in Harmonium. Ganesh Desai is a “B HIGH” Grade artist in All India Radio. Doora Darshana (DD) Bangalore, E TV, Kasturi & Udaya channels have been telecasting his programs and some News papers have covered his profile.

After gaining his MBA in Marketing and Human Resources from CMR Institute of Management Studies, Currently Ganesh Desai is teaching music at “Greenwood High” international school and prestigious cultural center Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. He is widely travelled and appreciated in international festivals in UK, CANADA and USA in the year 2000, 2004, 2006 and 2009 and now in 2011.

His has produced and released some albums, composed music and sung by him-self.

NAMITA  DESAI

Namita Desai, one among the graded dancers and achievers of today and strives to excel in the field of Dance. She took her initial training in Bharatanatyam under Late. Shri P.V.Upadhyaya & “Smt Mandakini Udupi  Dharwad “ and Vidwan Shri K. Ramamurthy Rao of Mysore. In the later stage to nurture her deep interest in this art, she moved to Bangalore and received training in Bharatanatyma and Mohini Attam from Karnataka kala shree Kalamadanalam, Smt. Usha Datar. Besides having an academic qualification of B.Com, she completed her senior grade examination in Bharatanatym conducted by Karnataka Govt. (1998) and master’s degree in Bharatanatyam (M.A) from Bangalore University (2003).

Currently Namita Desai is under the tutelage of Guru B. Bhanumati Bangalore since 2003 and has completed her “Rangapravesha” successfully in the year 2005. Presently Namita Desai is performing in the prestigious dance Troup “Bharatanjali” of Guru B. Bhanumati and travelled widely all over India. 

Namita Desai has been an active participant in many dance features presented, on both stage and television. She has travelled widely across the Karnataka and abroad (USA, CANADA in the year 2009) presenting solo performances and striving to make the aspects of Abhinaya, her forte.  She has also choreographed many dance dramas.

ACTING IN SMALL SCREEN

Adding to her multitalented personality is her experience in acting for television. Her convincing portrayal of the character “Gayatri” in “Moodalamane” of ETV. She also acted in other serials like “Nanda Gokula”, “Malebillu”, and “Nirantara” of ETV and “Swabhimana” of Zee Kannada channel, “Sangolli Raayanna” of Suvarna Channel, playing as Rani Chennamma a famous Historical character & Classic Projects of Door Darshan, “Maneyondu Mooru baagilu” (ETV)and Kallu Sakkare (Kasturi). Presently she is acting in famous mythological serial of Guru Raghavendra swami of Mantralaya “GURU RAAGHAVENDRA VAIBHAVA” telecasting in SUVARANA channel.

WORKSHOP / PRIVATE LESSONS

MUSIC: Workshops or private sessions can be organised for a week or more. The session will be of 1 hour each, in which they can learn Voice culture lessons, Basic fundamentals of North Indian classical Music, Bhajans and Light music.

DANCE: Workshops or private sessions can be organised for a week or more. The session will be of 1 hour each, in which they can learn Basic fundamentals of Bharatanatyam and classical dance items. They can also learn some Devotional and folk compositions.

INSTRUMENTALS : If any one interested in learning TABLA /HARMONIUM, can organise workshops/private sessions. The sessions will be duration of 1 hour each. This includes basic fingering exercises and some compositions and basic Indian Taala system.
